Day 01 Arrival in Paro – Thimpu
  • As your flight gracefully descends into the picturesque Paro Valley, the panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks welcome you to Bhutan.
  • The landing at Paro Airport, surrounded by majestic mountains, offers a breath-taking introduction to the beauty that awaits. Upon arrival, your knowledgeable guide will warmly receive you, setting the tone for a memorable journey to Thimphu. Based on time availability, en route stop at Tachog Lhakhang (Iron Bridge) and Photo Break at Chunzom, where rivers converge, provides a tranquil backdrop, allowing you to unwind and absorb the serene surroundings.After reaching Thimphu, the capital city, check into the hotel, freshen up, and embark on a visit to Memorial Chorten, a sacred stupa dedicated to Bhutan's third king. If time permits, take a leisurely walk through the charming streets of Thimphu town, exploring local shops and cafes.

Day 02 Thimphu Sightseeing
  • After a wholesome breakfast, embark on a visit to Buddha Point. The towering Buddha statue, set against the backdrop of the valley, creates a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
  • Later visit Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park, the adventure takes a hike from Kuensel Phodrang to Changangkha Lhakhang. Picture this: a trail kissed by the whispers of nature, creating a canvas for an intimate journey.Later immerse yourselves in Bhutanese heritage at the Simply Bhutan Museum, offering interactive experiences and insights into the country's rich culture. The journey continues with visits to the National Library, housing ancient manuscripts, the Textile Museum, showcasing traditional Bhutanese weaving, the Bhutan Postal Museum, unravelling the nation's philatelic history, and the Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory, where the art of papermaking comes to life. The day's exploration culminates with a visit to Tashichhoedzong, an architectural marvel that serves as the seat of Bhutanese government and the monastic body.

Day 03 Thimphu – Punakha
  • After a hearty breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive towards Punakha via the breathtaking Dochula Pass. Pause at Dochula to take in the 360-degree views of the Himalayas, surrounded by fluttering prayer flags.
  • Continuing the journey to Punakha, on the way to Punakha, we will have excursion to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the temple of fertility. It involves a 15-minute drive and a 1½-hour walk through paddy fields and villages.Later visit the grand Punakha Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture. Cross the nearby Suspension Bridge,offering a thrilling experience and panoramic views of the Punakha Valley.If time Permits we will visit Khamsum Yulley Chorten: Perched on a hilltop, approximately 7.5 kilometers northwest of Punakha Dzong, the Khamsum Yulley Chorten stands as a testament to Bhutanese craftsmanship and spirituality. The Chorten offers a breath-taking 360-degree view of Punakha valley's rice fields and the shimmering Mo Chhu River.

Day 04 Punakha / Wangdue to Gangtey Excursion and Back
  • As the first rays of the Bhutanese sun paint the landscape with a golden hue, your day begins with the promise of exploration. Today's adventure takes you on a full-day excursion to the enchanting Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley, a journey of both natural splendor and cultural discovery.
  • Setting out early ensures you have ample time to absorb the beauty that unfolds along the 85-kilometer route, a scenic drive that spans 3 to 3½ hours. The destination, Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley, sits at an altitude of 3000 meters, making it one of Bhutan's most captivating spots. Upon Arrival to Gangtey, we will embark on a delightful hike through the Gangtey Natural Trail, surrounded by pristine landscapes and the call of nature. Visit the enchanting Gangtey Goenba, a monastery nestled in the valley, radiating peace and spirituality and Black Necked Crane Information Centre, a sanctuary of knowledge about these endangered avian wonders. Learn about their habits, habitat, and the ongoing efforts to preserve these majestic creatures. The delicate balance between nature and conservation unfolds before your eyes. As the day wanes and the sun begins its descent, the return journey to Punakha commences. The changing hues of the sky cast a warm glow over the Bhutanese countryside, creating a magical atmosphere that lingers in the air. Back in Punakha, your hotel awaits, providing a cozy haven for the night.

Day 05 Punakha – Paro
  • Begin your morning with a delightful breakfast at the Punakha hotel, bidding farewell to the charming town. The journey to Paro takes you on a scenic highway, a visual feast for the senses. Along the way, make a meaningful stop at Simtokha Dzong, Bhutan's oldest fortress built in 1627.
  • Today, it houses the School for Buddhist Studies, embodying centuries of wisdom and spiritual heritage. Upon your arrival in Paro, the town welcomes you with open arms. Check into your chosen hotel, where comfort awaits as a backdrop to the unfolding adventure.After a leisurely lunch, set out to explore the cultural gems of Paro. Ta Dzong, now the National Museum, beckons with its extensive collection of Thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons, armor, and more—a journey through Bhutanese art and history. A short walk down the trail leads you to Rinpung Dzong, a fortress adorned with wall paintings that vividly illustrate Buddhist lore. As the day gracefully transitions into evening, find solace and rest at the hotel in Paro.

Day 06 Paro Sightseeing
  • After a hearty breakfast, embark on an excursion to the iconic Taktshang Monastery, a journey that unfolds over a 5-hour hike. This revered monastery stands as one of Bhutan's most famous, clinging to the side of a cliff 900 meters above the Paro valley floor. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, riding on the back of a tigress, arrived here and meditated, earning the moniker 'Tiger's Nest.' Recognized as a profoundly sacred site, it was visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1646 and remains a pilgrimage for all Bhutanese. Though a fire in 1998 severely damaged the main structure, the Bhutanese jewel has been meticulously restored to its original splendor, inviting visitors to witness its spiritual grandeur.
  • Later visit Drukgyel Dzong: A ruined fortress, 2-3 kilometers from the Taksang base parking area. Later pause to explore the 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang. One of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, it holds historical significance as the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. As the day transitions into evening, indulge in an exploratory walk around the Mainstreet and market area, absorbing the vibrant atmosphere of Paro. Each step unveils a tapestry of Bhutanese life and culture, creating memories that resonate with the charm of this enchanting town.

Day 07 Departure from Paro
